Comments: Toowoomba now face minor premiers Redcliffe, next week, after a very good win against Easts, in front a very vocal Tigers crowd.  The Clydesdales raced to a 14-0 lead after 26 minutes after Brent Tate, Alex Wilson (length of the field effort) and Junior Pelesasa all scored 4 pointers courtesy of some woeful one-on-one tackling from the Tigers.   The Tigers finally got on the board with a try to Jason Wendt.  However, the Clydesdales scored two tries to Adam Warwick and Jace Van Dijk to take a commanding 24-4 lead at half-time.  Easts had to come out and try stay in the game by scoring a few quick tries.  Tiger Chris Nahi got over the line in the 48th minute and, when halfback Brett McPherson went in for another try 8 minutes later, Easts had a glimmer of hope of pulling off a miraculous.  Unfortunately for the home side, one of their players threw a wayward pass and Alex Wilson swooped on the ball to sprint away to score his second try of the day.  Des Clark scored a try to the Tigers to reduce the margin to 10 but Toowoomba finished off in style when fullback Adam Warwick got his second try, close to fulltime.  The Tigers had an unhappy day and look likely to miss winger Jason Wendt, next week, after he was sent off by referee Tony Maksoud for driving knees into Adam Warwick in a tackle, towards the end of the game.  They will now have to face Burleigh next week and will have to do a bit of work if they are stay in the hunt for the Bundy Gold Cup trophy.
